Keep Douglas County Beautiful has pledged to act as a catalyst for positive community change, with the goal of improving the quality of life for every resident of Douglas County by leading the fight to end littering, improve recycling and to beautify the community. The mission of Keep Douglas County Beautiful is to educate, engage, and empower citizens and businesses with the resources to promote a clean, beautiful, and sustainable community.

Education
Litter Prevention
K.D.C.B currently visits our schools and provides education about the importance of keeping our community clean and beautiful.
K.D.C.B hosts a number of community wide cleanups throughout the year. Check our EVENTS page for an updated list of upcoming cleanup events.

Beautification
K.D.C.B will enhance our efforts on the beautification of our community and gateways.
Recycling
In efforts to promote the advancement of recycling, K.D.C.B joined Douglas County's Community Relations department and co-hosted the annual Great Douglas County Shredding Event.
